Our default operating model is hybrid: two planned office days and three remote days in a five-day week. Some roles can support more remote flexibility, but that is determined role by role and stated in the individual posting.
We are headquartered in Kenya, with a lean remote operations footprint in Europe (Berlin) for coordination and partnerships—not a parallel hiring hub. That keeps our base grounded in East Africa while staying connected to international delivery standards and remote collaboration habits.

We want people to understand the working arrangement clearly before they apply. Current commitments are listed below; anything still being developed is described as such.
Current Working Arrangements
- Hybrid work is the default: two planned office days and three remote days in a five-day week
- Some roles may be remote-first where the work allows it; each job posting states the applicable arrangement
- 25 vacation days each year, in addition to public holidays
- The wider benefits package is still being determined; private health insurance is not currently included
- Learning budgets, training, or conference support may be considered later, but are not currently guaranteed

Landela is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. This is our primary business base and the home office for local team coordination.
European coordination (Berlin)
We keep a lean remote operations footprint in Berlin for delivery rhythm and partnerships. Open roles on this site target Kenya-based hiring unless a posting explicitly says otherwise.
